Matt Leinart clavicle fracture

The rumor is that Houston Texans quarterback Matt Leinart suffered what folks believe is a season-ending collarbone break. This is an x-ray of a fractured clavicle.

While some of these fractures are treated non-operatively, we also inform our patients that internal fixation with a plate can provide stability to the fracture and restore the normal length of the clavicle.
