Shoulder fracture dislocation / prosthesis

Here is a case from which we can learn.
A patient sustains a fracture dislocation.

A reduction is attempted in the ER. Substantial force was required.
The post reduction attempt x-ray shows displacement of an anatomical neck fracture that was poorly seen on the prereduction films

Subsequent treatment was with a humeral hemiarthroplasty that is now complicated by tuberosity nonunion, cuff disfunction and pseudoparalysis.
