Parting is such sweet sorrow

Each year we have the sweet sorrow of graduating two excellent shoulder fellow. It is sorrowful because we have worked so closely together for the last 12 months. It is sweet because Ian Whitney (center) will rejoin his family and a great practice in San Antonio and Robert Lucas (dark suit and blue shirt) will take his family back to the Bay Area where he will join the practice of our friend Kirk Jensen. Also shown are Rick Matsen (grey hair), Winston Warme (suit and beard) and Jason Hsu (white shirt and smile).
Wishing Robert and Ian all the best and congratulations on all their terrific accomplishments as University of Washington Shoulder Fellows.

Here are some additional photo's from Dr. Warme's Climbing Gym
