The severe B2 glenoid in an active man - how can it be managed?

A very active man in his 80s who enjoyed activities such as chopping wood, presented with a painful left shoulder and these x-rays.

The AP view shows severe osteoarthritis

The axillary 'truth' view shows a severe type B2 glenoid with biconcavity and extreme retroversion.

Because of his active lifestyle, he elected a ream and run procedure without an attempt to change glenoid retroversion. Here are his x-rays two years after surgery.

He is back to his usual work, chopping wood and his other desired physical activities. This video shows his range of motion at 2 years after surgery.
