Before surgery he could perform 8 of the 12 functions of the Simple Shoulder Test. His preoperative x-rays showed a B2 glenoid:
Now 12 years after surgery he is back to full on rowing. His Simple Shoulder Test is 12/12. His radiographs today show a single concavity and no evidence of glenoid wear.
It is interesting to observe the time course of his recovery, shown in the graph below showing SST score plotted by date. The red dot represents his immediate preoperative score.
Of note is the fact that he continued to improve several years after his procedure.
