Ream and Run - function at 11 years after surgery

A patient in her mid fifties presented with pain and stiffness of the left shoulder that prevented her from her sport/vocation as a 8th degree black belt Karate instructor. She was able to perform only 5 of the 12 functions of the Simple Shoulder Test. Her preoperative films are shown below.


At 11 years after surgery she can perform all 12 of the SST functions. Her x-rays show excellent regeneration of her joint.


Her motion is shown in this video.

She now is limited only by the arthritis in the opposite shoulder.
