Revision of failed total shoulder to reverse

Yesterday our post concerned the conversion of a failed total shoulder to a reverse. Interestingly after putting up this post we had the opportunity to revise the failed total shoulder shown below

It is of note that the problem was not seen on the AP view, but the axillary view showed the shoulder to be anteriorly unstable.

This particular system allowed the opportunity to replace the anatomic glenoid prosthesis with a baseplate and glenosphere and the opportunity to put a humeral cup on the stem without having to remove the securely fixed humeral body.
